    1. What is the EyeMags Service?

The EyeMags Service is for Apps on mobile what You-tube is for Video, now anyone can create their own personalised mobile content applications. It allows users to create magazines that they can easily share with their friends. The application, for example, allows users to upload and share holiday photographs or wedding snaps and write about them.

The principle of the EyeMags is that it is simple and easy to use in both the web interface and most importantly the phone applications. We want to ensure any usage barriers are reduced. EyeMags is first and foremost a mobile phone community, where we interwork with fixed Internet communities. You will not see lists of friends in the web-site, our user's friends are in the address book on the phone. This is the mobile community we address.

    2. What phones will it run on?

We've designed this product to work on as many phones as possible. Currently all MIDP2.0 capable phones are included. This is most phones. For the iPhone EyeMags works as a "webapp" and online application in the browser but for other touch phones such as Nokia 5800 and N97 we have downloadable widgets. Please see supported phones list.

    3. What is the EyeMags policy on adult content?

We have a clear policy around adult content accessed via EyeMags. Therefore we recognise that adult content may be created and distributed by users as EyeMags is a user-generated content service.

To restrict access to such content, we ask that users clearly identify their content as adult where applicable. There are two levels of adult content, 15+ is for content which contains some mild nudity and 18+ is for content which needs more restriction. In addition to this, 18+ content will not be publicly available on m.eyemags.com. 15+ content is access via a login gateway where users have to declare their age. 18+ Adult content will only be accessible through a unique download code, distributed by the content creator.

If you have concerns about content available via the service, you can contact us at report@eyemags.com

Content will then be investigated and, if deemed inappropriate, removed from EyeMags.

    4. I want to create private non adult content which only I can get access to?

We now have an option to create private content, just go to edit settings. Private content does not appear in the gallery, you access it through the download code.

    5. I want to sell and/or use my EyeMags I've created for commercial gain. Can I do that?

You can buy and download a commercial version of your EyeMag. The commercial version can be distributed in any way you wish and can even be sold as an indefinite license. There is a single file for all phones with the option of buying a Nokia touch phone version. For the iPhone you may want it put on the iTunes Appstore and this is a separate optional payment.

    6. What is the EyeMags policy on copyrighted material
